How Just For Today Timepieces Came About:

My actual tattoo I designed over 9 years ago.

My name is Jason Franciamore, and I’m an addict. About nine and a half years ago, I started my journey to “get clean.” It was during this process that I learned of the phrase “Just For Today,” and I decided I wanted it as a tattoo. The impact of the phrase is to refocus the overwhelming idea of forever to just for today. I often told myself, “Don’t use today. Maybe tomorrow I can give in, just for today, stay clean.” Well, this is easier said than done. My addiction became the most time-conscious sensory I had. So, I decided my tattoo needed to really incorporate time and “just for today.” I came up with what ultimately fueled my success in recovery. I designed a clock tattoo and replaced the twelve numbers with the twelve letters: J U S T F O R T O D A Y, around the bezel. This was my design for my new tattoo. I often thought to myself that one day I would design a watch just like my tattoo that I could give out to anyone battling this war of addiction that nobody can see. I am working towards this goal, and with every clock sold, I am getting closer! Thank you for being a part of this movement that, in my opinion, will help lead the masses and ultimately make this world a better place for all. The best thing about just focusing on today is: this is great advice for anybody in any walk of life. Not just addicts, alcoholics, mental illness, but for everyone. Let’s face it, none of us are perfect; however, to improve who we are only requires the desire and motivation to do so on a daily basis. Just For Today, I am choosing life on life’s terms, not substance or numbness, and it has worked for me for over seven years and seven months! I call it being a “wartime hero” every day that I win these battles in this invisible war.

This is the original design that resembles my tatoo.
